Earthwork is Underway

The earthwork contractor has mobilized and is currently preparing the site. At this stage, preparation work includes installation of the Sediment Erosion Control System, grading of the soil, and demolishing the existing building pad/foundation.  Additionally, the team:

  • Has placed SOD and seeding over exposed soil around the perimeter to help absorb water when it rains.

  • Is continuing to remove old/dead trees.

  • Installing sediment traps, pipes and storm structures along the East perimeter. This helps maintain and control the flow of sediment erosion.
